Over many months, I read on this reflector a number of comments
regarding Force 12 customer service. I would like to share my views
on this from a recent experience.
I had a cable failure on my TX-472 tower. Yes, It was my fault for not
changing cables on a regular basis. On the tower is a Force 12 C4-SXL
and above that is a Force 12 EF-180B. When the beast hit bottom, the=20
hard stop caused the 3/8 tips of one 40M element and the 3/8 tips of
the 180B to break off. There is also a bend in the linear loading =
spreader
for the 80M dipole.
I called F12 with a list of needed parts. The phone was answered by a YL
named Sarah. I explained to her which parts were needed, she took my=20
information, she gave me a price and this case was closed.
Two points I can make are; The construction of the antenna (light-weight
and flexible) resulted in less aluminum cluttering my lawn and the =
attention
I received from Sarah at Force 12 was as good as it will get from a =
customer
service department.

PS-- The cable order from US Towers went well also.................
