I received the following request for information about an old Mosley
antenna. If anyone has any info that can help Don, please contact him
directly. I know he would be appreciative.

Subject: RE: your mail
Also trying to resurrect an old Mosley VP40-2 2 el 40 meter vest pocket
circa early 60's where they used the ceramic standoffs on redwood for
element support to boom. I am only missing (can't find in the barn) the
driven element coil which the coax connected to and the instructions ( I did
find these albeit yellowed) does not give any information. I would suspect
the inner coil would be the same number of turns and dia as the other coil
with 4 or 5 turns outside the plexiglass coil form covering the inner coil.
Any ideas on anyone who would know how this particular coil was constructed
to match to the coax feedline? Mosely says they have no info on this old
relic. I'd like to put it back together and put on other tower.
