I know there was a prior discussion on this point, but have been unable to
retrieve it from the archives.
Would like to find out what is the best way to connect the RF Choke to the
driven elements of the 40-2CD. I have some old(but unused) Budwig Hye-Que
center connectors with the so 259 sealed in plastic. Can these be used
instead of stripping the braid & center conductor of my RG 213 Choke? If it
can be used what is the suggested way of connecting to the driven element?
Any information would be appreciated, before the antenna goes up and faces
an Iowa winter.
