I used Penetrox on a Mosley tri-bander I put together in 1970. I
refurbished it a month ago with absolutely no difficulty in separating
the joints. Although it had been stored some of those 28 years, I
believe that length of time still speaks well for this compound. Other
than Mosley, I've only seen AES selling it--and they provide an adequate
quantity of it in a tube (based on their catalog), whereas Mosley
provides a small quantity of it in a small plastic bag (which is more
difficult to store).
