Subject: [TowerTalk] Some Hope
So what SFI do we need to support F2 on six meters in the northern latitudes??
73/Mike
Have a look at:
http://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/images/latest_sxt.gif
That North Central bunch of bright x-rays is what is keeping
the flux up now; the lower, right bright areas are directing
their X's too far away to be of much help, though of still some
help.
The hope is in the bright areas just beyond the limb of
the Eastern limb, on the left of this image. If really
active, these could, might keep us above 140 for
the next week or so.
Keep your fingers crossed!
