Henry -
The BEST and recommended way, is to use a guying bracket which
fits around the tower. Even better to add the torque bar arms which
add stability to the tower.
The NEXT best method is to place a Preformed Guy Grip around the
leg, including BOTH the upper and lower Z bracing corners in the loop.
This reduces the stress on the welds compared to placing the loop
around the leg above a step / weld position.
Guy grips are MUCH easier to install than cable clamps and the do
NOT work loose as clamps do over time and temperature cycling.
