HELLO CHUCK,
WE'VE WATCHED THE CLAIMS OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, AND IN GENERAL IT
IS NOT SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER, IN THE .400" SIZE, THAN THE VARIOUS LOW LOSS
COAXES ALREADY POPULAR, UNTIL YOU GET TO THE GHz REGION - IT THEN LOOKS
QUITE GOOD. I WAS KIND OF TURNED OFF BY THEIR BIG AD LAST YEAR SHOWING
HOW GREAT IT WAS COMPARED TO RG213 - AS IF THE INDUSTRY HADN'T PRODUCED
ANYTHING BETTER THAN THE LATTER UNTIL AIRCOM CAME ALONG!
IT IS A BIT PRICEY, BUT THE CONCEPT IS GREAT AS A HARD LINE ALTERNATE,
BUT THEIR CLAIM THAT IT CAN BE USED AROUND A ROTOR IGNORES METALLURGY -
IT WOULD BE NO BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL 9913 OR NOW LMR400 IN CENTER
CONDUCTOR FRACTURE RISK, IN OUR OPINION.
MOISTURE INGRESS RISK IS REDUCED A BIT, IF THE CONNECTIONS ARE
HERMETICALLY SEALED TO THE POINT OF WITHSTANDING SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN
INTERNAL PRESSURE.
HOPE THIS HELPS.
