        My favorite example of this was a visit to the TransWorld Radio 
shortwave
        site on Bonaire (PJ4).  They had a 50kw broadcast station driving their
        750kw final and the curtain array (14.5 Mhz) was (is still?) fed with 
open
        "wire" line using two parallel runs of 4" aluminum irrigation tubing (or
what    looked like that) for the conductors...
