Hy-Gain has discontinued its tower line. I called them about the availability of bases for the HG54HD (54 foot crank up) tower. I was told there are no bases in stock and no material to build a new base. Since they are discontinued they will not be ordering any additional material. The tower must be bolted to a Hy-Gain base structure which have special flanges on the end of the tower which mate with flanges on the base. This allows the tower to fold over at the tower-base point. It doesn't look like J bolts or similar would work. Any one have any ideas on how to get a base for one of these Hy-Gain towers?
