WA6IKE bought a 120 ft SSV for $500.00. His bid was low because he was
talking it down and the liabilty was his. The local tower erection co.
would have charge over $1000.00 plus crane time ,etc., to pull it down.
This means the owners made $1500.00 or more on the deal.
You might look into the price that a tower erection, or in this case
removal, Co. will charge to remove them and then make an offer. I am sure
the Company that owner them already knows the cost of removing. You might
get them under $1000.00 each. Look into the cost of the base sections too.
To reuse the towers, the owners would have to buy the base leggs too.
This adds to their cost. Good Luck
