HI DAVE AND ALL,
IT`S FUNNY THAT THIS SUBJECT HAS COME UP.I HAVE BEEN LOOKING THROUGH
SOME OF MY OLD QST/CQ MAGS THAT WERE GIVEN TO ME,FOR A TWO ELEMENT BEAM
FOR MYSELF(summer project).I DID MANAGE TO FIND ONE IN THE AUGUST 66
ISSUE OF CQ.
IT USES 36` ELEMENTS ON A 20` BOOM AND CENTER LOADED. ELEMENTS ARE
INSULATED FROM BOOM. NOT SURE HOW WELL IT REALLY WORKS BUT WOULD LIKE TO
GIVE IT A TRY.
HAS ANYONE EVER COME ACROSS OR BUILT ANY GOOD DESIGNS FOR A SMALL BEAM
FOR EIGHTY METERS? SURE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT THEM.
73,
Kevin
