For the past 20 years I have always put a 2 meter vertical (DC grounded) about 15 feet above my 204BA and 15 meter 4 el stack. I did this because both beams seemed to have a lot less "storm noise" during local low level cloud activity. I first found this to be true while living in the Tampa Bay area.
