I have a hard time understanding the logic behind a "guyed crank up
tower". Isn't that kind of like "government organization"? It seems
like that configuration would be nothing but trouble. The winch and
lifting cable is trying to push the tower up and the guy wires are
trying to pull it down. Does that kind of crank up have some additional
kind of stop or latch or something to take the strain off the lifting
mechanism?
