Since there is a lot of discussion about phasing verticals you might want to
get the Amateur Phasing Engineering Report from Hu-Gain. Its Part # 801774.
The illustrations all picture the Hy-Tower. A two element pair can cover
all four quadrants as either broadside or endfire (bi-directional). Another
option is cardoid uni-directional that is end-fire.
Three verticals in a triangle give you 6 possible 60 degree coverage at
4.5DB( i or D??) gain over a single vertical.
