>From what RAC has heard many amateurs in Eastern Ontario and Quebec have lost antennas and towers due to the sheer weight of the ice. As the storm has knocked out commercial installations and cellular/PCS, amateurs in Quebec have been receiving good PR for providing emergency communication.
