Hello and happy holidays to all fellow towertalk ppl out there.I have a
problem here with my C4-XL antenna here by force 12 and was wondering if
anyone can help me.First of all when I brought the antenna here the boom
was crushed by UPS was it had to be made over again.Force customer
sevice so not so helpful but in time I got my new boom.Now I have
another problem with the boom here and I am still waiting for a response
from force 12 after sending pictures to them about my problem here.My 40
meter driver I think is not in the right place on the boom.When I
measured my 185 inches from the end of the boom for the ez mount boom to
mast bracket it placed it going thru the hairpin tuning of the 40 meter
element here.The swr is fine and where it should be on the ground but
droppes to 4.26mhz when My tower is cranked up.:(.Does anyone out there
have the measure meusurement between that 40 meter driver and the coller
on that boom section.Or have any measurements at all so I can get this
antenna fixed.If anyone wants apic of my problem I will send them one.I
now just getting a little tired of waiting for force 12 to responce
here.I also wonder how many other people have had problems like this
with costumer servicce of force 12.I really like the antenna.It works
very well for me but I should think that if people send over 800.oo
dollars for their product they should help thier custumers out a little
faster and better.
