I always wanted a Curtain antenna. maybe those poles will be tall enuf? I had a rombic (rhombic?) 500 ft of wire on each of four sides. Heard like a bandit! A lightning strike on the horizon would give me a inch spark off the feedline ends--which I placed out in the yard away from the house when storms came by. But, I still want a Curtain. de K4VUD -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/towertalkfaq.html Submissions: towertalk@contesting.com Administrative requests: towertalk-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-towertalk@contesting.com Search: http://www.contesting.com/km9p/search |
