Hi John,
Since you have seen this stacked array, why not tell us more about it?
Antenna specifics, spacing, how tall is the tower, how is it switched, is
it a dedicated tower, fixed or rotating tower? Inquiring minds would like
to know. I think it is great that some of us actually get around to building
some of these monsters and I like to hear the specifics and how it relly
worked.
Tnx es 73

Hi Bill,
Everything Matt does is first class. I live about 20 miles from him and he's
LOUD on any band. What a sight when you're looking straight up that tower from
the base... Its pretty difficult to see sky thru all that aluminum.
I BET HE COULD RUN EUROPE KEYING AN H-P SIGNAL GENERATOR CONNECTED TO THAT
STACK!!!!!

I have to question the logic of 8 10M yagis stacked vertically. Unless
Matt is using hardline between the antennas for phasing lines, I would
guess that much of the gain he gets with 8 yagis is lost in 8 very long
feed lines. Of course Matt never does anything half____. So he must
know something (probably a lot) I dont know.
Anyone else have an opinion?
