AB105/FRC comes in several section lengths, including 5', 6' and 10'.
There are others, but I don't remember offhand what they are. A 10'
section of AB105C/FRC (with the climbing steps) weighs 112 pounds.
I just bought some of the stuff and it looks wonderful. The base
section
you mentioned was used to pivot the tower into place (I think) and you
should have no problem lowering the tower on it...use adequate safety
precautions!
