Good afternoon.
The end of the nut without the nylon insert goes on the nut first. The nylon
insert is on the outside of the nut (not against the joint).
If using these for element construction, be especially careful not to
overtighten them. Doing so can easily compress the tubing into an oval and
might render it impossible to disassemble.
