I have to agree. Those cast aluminum boom to mast clamps from Hygain are
wonderful!
When I beefed up my Cushcraft 402CD, I used one of those on a 2" mast
without a truss. It's still exactly where I clamped it 2 years ago.
Sorry, but I dont have any for sale, but they arent too expensive new
anyway.

Subject: [TowerTalk] 204BA cast metal mast mounting blocks
these little jewels are great....if you have any kicking around you wish to
part with let me know....there are two cast pieces which bite down on the
mast when you tighten them....I think they use these on other antennas,
too.
My question....have you used them on a narrower diameter than that water
pipe
mast (yes, I admit I used water pipe once, or mebbe twice) or a two inch OD
mast?
What I am wondering about is if they will clamp down onto a 1.5 inch OD
tube
and won't collide with each other preventing the bite onto this small a
diameter...I haven't tried them down that low....all mine are up in the air
now so - if you know, lemme know, please!
They make dandy truss point attachments....dandy being in a Towertalkian
sense.
