Thanks, Sandy - pre-tinning the PL259 body should not be necessary with a
clean PL and a hot, heavy enough iron. If fact, a loose drop of solder
inside during such a tinning may be knocked of by the coax insertion and
then could land, unseen, in the wrong place, causing trouble.
