I would like to know how much interaction a cross arm of steel would
cause an H-frame of 105CA antennas. I know there will be some degree of
change, but since the cross arm isn't going to be resonant on 28Mhz, I am
wondering if the cross arm would effect it that much.

Then is it improved by lowering the antennas at the end of this boom by
about 5' with another piece of metal?

Any ideas also appreciated. My plan is to fix this system in one
direction mounted on a Rohn-45 tower.
