In the course of answering a question about fixed position wire beams for
80 and 75 meters, I did some rough modeling of an open sleeve coupled
80-75 meter combination 2-element (4 wire--one feed) Yagi.  Too long to
post, the results are at my site, for anyone interested.

Such a beam should be at least 1/2 wl up to get the elevation angle of max
radiation down to the 27 degree region.  Hence, wire beam builders may
also wish to compare the results with parasitic half square, delta, and
other configurations, some of which are discussed in an adjacent note at
the site.
