For years I've been trying to convince readers of CQ-Contest and
Towertalk to write a program which would answer questions such as: "I
want to put xxx and yyy on Rohn 25 at 68'. At what heights should I guy
it, or should I use Rohn 45? What if I want to run one guy to only 68% of
tower height, insted of Rohn's 80% recommendation? Etc."

I've now found a team of software writers who have just published a
program for optical engineers for designing lens systems. They are
willing to attack the question of tower engineering.

So I come to you, Towertalkians. What would you like to see in TA (Tower
Analyzer) (sm) (1977)?
Features? What ifs? Guy wire sizes? What problems do you routinely
need solved that are not solved by K7LXC's MARC (mast) program?

Needless to say, this program will NOT give you a "wet stamp,"
substituting for the seal of a Registered Professional Engineer. But if
you want to solve some practical problems, such as how to install guys
when you simply cannot put one on one of those 120 degree angle vectors,
this program may do it for you.

What would you like Tower Analyzer to do?
