If the upgrade kit sells for $225 (see below), and is a rare find, then
one must seriously consider finding an old, heavily used TH6 for $200
and using just the driven element to convert a TH6 into a TH7.
Has anyone ever done this -- created a homemade TH7 out of two TH6's --
and where can I find the text file on how it was done (plus parts and
materials)? I own two TH7's and two TH6's, but four TH7's sounds nicer.
