According to Carroll Smith in his book "Nuts, Bolts, Fasteners and
Plumbing handbook" he does thinks that stainless steel is
useless (he builds race cars) because they are not very
strong. He gives a typical rating of 90,000 psi UTS for
stainless steel bolts.
I personaly think that using a preformed guy grip is
*the* way to go - much eaiser to use than cable clamps.
