Jim,
There is at least one "REAL  rotor" available on the market!
Its called a prop-pitch anything you -- or anyone else on here -- is
likely to turn.  You can purchase complete systems from K6NA.

I've used a prop-pitch on my full size 3 element 40M beam for the last 25+
years, including one 100+ MPH wind that broke two of the elements, and
I've never had a wind induced prop-pitch rotor failure.
