Hi Jon and gang,
I worked VP2VI last night on 160 meters CW at 08:23pm EDT which was five
minutes before my sunset when they were just above my noise floor so they
have very good receive capabilities as I was only running 100 watts and my
68 foot base loaded vertical for TX. I also made a brief recording of them
calling CQ at 9:54pm EDT when their signal had really come up in strength
and I just uploaded it to youtube. Here is a link to my recording for
those interested: https://youtu.be/JWBtEmvMESE
Just FYI,
