It sure was a good night here in TN, EM66IJ. Sure glad O'Sol gave us a quiet
night last night with no storms
low SFI and fewer sunspots. According to solar forecast on space weather, we
should be in for another quiet
night again tonight.

The CW portion of the band was popping with signals here from EU last night.
This little 100 watt station did
work F5IN Mike, and G3PQA John. I heard Ivan, LZ1PM CQing with a nice S5-6
signal here, but I could never
get his attention, other than a couple times with "??QRZ agn". Also heard W0FLS
in QSO with DF2PY and then IV3PRK.
Both DF2PY and IV3PRK were S6-7 here. I did also hear OK1CF Karel, but he was
not as strong as the rest and quite
a bit of deep QSB on his signal.
My noise floor last night was the lowest it's been this fall season at S1-2 and
no pops or crackles, thanks to
a quiet sun for a change and no thunderstorm noise! Most all EU signals heard
and worked were at least S5-6 in the clear.

I'll be on again tonight from around 04:00utc prowling around the CW portion
CQing and looking for EU.
