I currently have OFCOM investigating a local noise interference source. It's
just a wideband hash across all bands, but worse on 160m (my main band).

When looking on their Spectrum Analyser plugged into my Half Wave 160m
Dipole, one of their engineers thought the noise dropped off a lot at the
band edges, with a big hump on its resonant frequency . . . but I said I
thought that was just due to my Antenna, not the shape of the noise. I
explained to them that it's much more critical on 160m, due to any change in
frequency being a bigger fraction of the wavelength than the higher bands
(that they were more used to seeing).

I know how the VSWR changes across the band . . . but I really have no idea
how much the received signal strength would change. I have searched for a
Graph online, but not come up with anything to show them.

Can anyone help with this?
