Saw spots but didnt hear a peep UNTIL 0120z last night through l about
0235 ( his sunrise) when he dropped out. Saw mni spots earlier from
East Coast and ulf Coast stations but never hears the &q& until last
night. Three calls and he came back.
During that hour, slow QSB took him from noise level up to S5-6 at
times
He was easier to work right about when he started coming in to Ohio.
As time passed the midwest pileup grew and he became more erratic in
his listening characteristics...ie staying on the same general freq
less, and jumping around more.
