So sad to hear.

Herb was the first top band dx from a new qth in MD.  The thing that made
it special was that it was qrp using a random length long wire that was
lucky to be 10 feet above ground level during a Stew Perry several years
back.

The qso was all his skills in being able to hear my puny weak signal.
