According to online dictionary, Contemporaneous:

 Existing or occurring in the same period of time.
 "Pythagoras was contemporaneous with Buddha"

But, as it happens, neither Pythagoras nor the Buddha had to deal with 
important things like the ARRL DXCC program. :)
