Is this correct?:

Baker Island time is UTC-12, so at local sunset on June 27, it is
already June 28, UTC.  On the USA west coast, it is very late
on June 27.  Are the dates on the web site in terms of Baker Island
local time/date?

BTW, are you sure you have to wait until sunset?
