I know that many topbanders are following 630m activity with much interest. As previously announced in the ARRL News:

http://www.arrl.org/news/midwinter-630-meter-activity-weekend-set-for-early-february

this is a reminder of the upcoming "Midwinter 630m Operating Event"
scheduled for this Friday and Saturday evening. Two-way contacts will be
sought by six Canadian stations seeking CW crossband QSO's between 630m and
HF. Their operating details are shown below.

In addition, more than a dozen U.S. experimental stations will be operating
on CW as well as on various digital modes such as WSPR and JT9 and are
seeking your signal reports.
As well, the KSM Point Reyes maritime station and the "SS Red Oak
Victory"will be activated for the event ... their details are here:

The participation of Mitch, VE3OT, should provide a good opportunity for
amateurs in the central and eastern states as Mitch's signal is being
well-heard throughout the east as well as the southern states. Once again,
VO1NA in Newfoundland, will be watching for crossband contacts with eastern
NA as well as with Europe. The western side of the continent is well
represented with four stations in B.C. who, during the last event, had
contacts from Hawaii to the east coast.

Hopefully you can participate this weekend by completing several crossband
contacts with the Canadian stations or by sending a reception report to the
experimental stations via their qrz.com information or to the maritime
Californians.
