Planning the antenna, feedline, balun, and grounding as a *system *is more
important than any single other thing we can ever do. In a complex system
with standing waves (on the outside of wires and cables) and finite
impedances, there is no universal "this is optimum" answer.
If your antenna is 50 feet high on 160 and the feedline is suspended for
60-80 feet to the ground connection point, it already has an invisible
internal "self-balun" based on common mode impedances. :)
If the feedline runs up and is taped to a tower leg, the situation is
different.
In your case, most likely almost anything you do will be more than adequate.

not found similar info for toroidal baluns.
Using ft-106 type toroid and want to know if "more is better" or should I
