The first state-side QSO on 160 from Desecheo (KP4AM/D) (after a couple of Caribbean stations) was with K4IEX on March 5 at 0256 on CW. Then followed W4DR, W2QD, N4WW, W6RW, W8LRL, AA4V, K3VA and W4PZV. Number 22 down the same log page was none other that W1BB. The first Canadian was VE3BMV and the first European G3SZA. On SSB the first NA was K1BPW at 0450. W1BB was #6. There are many familiar calls and many "insurance" QSOs. A little bit of history. 73, Dave, W4DN EX-KP4AM _________________ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband |
