Are T-tops ever used in NA for commercial BCB stations? Tim N3QE _________________ Topband Reflector ______The high power shortwave station that I used to work at had 4 x 4 broad-banded dipole arrays in front of large reflectors. (~21dbi gain depending upon frequency) The antenna in a simpler single dipole configuration has the wire ends tied with a perimeter wire to give very wide frequency banding. For a modern version of the old T-top see. http://www.spx.com/en/tci/pd-613t-and-f-broadband-dipole-antennas/ 73, Bruce-K1FZ www.qsl.net/k1fz/beveragenotes.html _________________ Topband Reflector |
