Sigh... Well at least my K3 won't be "opened up" by the factory to be 
an economical Marine radio.

I did though chop & diode mod my old TR-7 (I bought new) to be that 
so I could access the WARC bands without buying the Drake Aux-7 board 
& ICs to fit.
