K3 guys - dont forget you have synchronous AM detection on your K3s.
When in AM mode, hold in the ALT button (right above POWER) and notice the
AM indication becomes AM-S. Detune the AM slightly and watch the receiver
retune it to zero beat. Rotate the shift control to switch between LSB and USB.
