Loss at 160 is determined by the thickness of the copper plating and even
the best will have a bit more loss than all copper. An additional 1dB/100'
of resistive loss in a 200-300' run means nothing and with a well
constructed Beverage wont even require a preamp. Its the loss from water
into the foam and aluminum that you dont want.

These days Im running 50-300' of RG-6 to the switch boxes and 700' of 1/2"
CATV hardline back to the house. The RG-6 is elevated thru bushes and low
branches as rodent prevention and the hardline has been on the ground about
22 years.
With good grounds and plenty of ferrite there is no detectable common mode
radiation.
