You probably are using a Mininec ground under the dipole. A low horizontal wire over a Mininec ground is a rule violation. Try using a real ground. Read the EZNEC help file on ground types. Also a vertical on 160 will have an advantage that does not show on NEC plots. Look up the effects of the Earth's gyro frequency.
