Good Morning:

I am currently using a 70' base loaded vertical over about 70 random length
radial from 60-140 feet in length. The base loaded coil is from array
solutions and has a 6" diameter coil. Taped about 1/3 down from the top.

It has a low Bandwidth around 35KC as expected. Modeling the same vertical
with 3 Top loaded Capacity wires spaced 120 degrees apart and 51.75' each yeald
a vertical with 90 KC of Bandwidth and an impedance of around 13 ohms, which
can easily be matched with a 1:4 UNUN.

My question is what kind of Efficiency can I expect if I change over to the top
hat wires, VS the loading coil at the base of the vertical? Its still fall out
in the Upperpart of Illinois, and not to late to do somemore antenna work on
the 160 meter vertical.

Thanks
