Topband: Radial Wire Size Responses

I wish to thank everyone for their overwhelm response to my question.   
The mechanical concerns far outweighed the electrical.    There has been 
a lot of great advice.  I'm trying to respond personally to each of you 
but due to the number of responses, it will take a little longer than
