That's really the key to it.  Very little discussion of small 
antennas is really needed. The principles and the practice agree 
quite well. More is better. Period. More height, more top loading, 
more copper on the ground, more copper close to the feedpoint is 
more important than longer radials. Don't worry about SWR, just do 
the best you can with what you've got, do the best you can with an 
RX antenna, and get on the air and have fun!

More is better. That's all you really need to know. :)
