Hello all,

I have yet to work 200 countries on Top Band but I'm
working on it (196 wkd / 193 cfmd). I use a full-size delta
loop hung from the top of a 130' tower for transmitting and
also have 3 2-wire Beverages (NE-SW; E-W & NW-SSE)
using KD9SV's Beverage xfmrs and 75 ohm coax for
getting the signal back to the shack. The Beverages are
approx. 600' long and I have mixed results with them.

I was wondering about putting up a "low" dipole for 160m,
running the dipole between my 2 towers at a height of 70'
but the distance between the towers is not great enough
for a full-length dipole. I'm guessing that the distance I
have to work with is about 220' and was wanting to put
up a "low" dipole to work state-side stations in the
various contests.

If anyone could advise me on the size and placement of
the loading coils to make this possible, I'd sure appreciate
hearing from anyone in this regard. Thanks in advance!

73, Brad, N9EN
