It looks like IRC will be providing roofing filter options for some of the
IC-756 line up, according to their announcement.

ICOM IC-756PRO2 Roofing Filter
International Radio Corp is taking orders for a roofing filter mod
for the IC-756PRO2. This roofing filter can help reduce the third
order Intermodulation from multiple strong signals in the 2 to 20 kHz
region either side of the tuned frequency. Please see our PDF document
titled "A few words about Roofing Filters" for more details.
This mod is significantly more challenging to perform than our
other roofing filter kits and requires removal of some SMT components,
cutting of board traces, and modifying a shield, and putting small
connectors on teflon RG-178 coaxial cables. It should only be
performed by those with considerable technical skills who are
comfortable working around delicate electronics and small surface
mount components. Note: this mod is applicable to the PRO2 version
only. We are working on one for the PRO3.
Please refer to our website for further information and check often
for upcoming new product announcements!

Mark and Trey
