"I am just checking if anyone as heard a new INTRUDER on 1952.00 kHz. It has
been reported by a ham in New Jersey. At the time of the report the INTRUDER
was S-9+20db. The station seems to be transmitting some type of digital signal.
It has been monitored in the evenings

>From the FCC rules, 97.303b:
(b) No amateur station transmitting in the 1900-2000 kHz segment, the 70 cm
band, the 33 cm band, the 23 cm band, the 13 cm band, the 9 cm band, the 5 cm
band, the 3 cm band, the 24.05-24.25 GHz segment, the 76-77.5 GHz segment, the

This signal has been identified previously as a legitimate primary service.

Therefore, amateur operations in this part of the spectrum are on a secondary
basis.
