A 160M dipole or doublet, depending on the feed
system and antenna tuner may often serve as a
complete 160-10M antenna.

The Pro-Am 160M mobile vertical is, of course,
designed specifically for 160M -- but I wonder
if anyone has tried to load one on other bands?

Is the coil and feed system on such a vertical
such that trying to load it on 80, 40, 20, etc.
via an antenna tuner is a waste of time?

Knowing the answer may impact where and how I
choose to mount it.

WDYT?
